Monica Louzon is a writer, translator, and editor. Her poetry has appeared in New Myths and Quatrain.Fish, and her science fiction story “San Cibernético” appeared in the anthology The Internet Is Where The Robots Live Now. McFarland has featured her academic research in the collection Women’s Space: Essays on Female Characters in the 21st Century Science Fiction Western.

She co-edited the anthology Catalysts, Explorers & Secret Keepers: Women of Science Fiction, and founded and edited the Museum of Science Fiction’s open access, peer-reviewed academic Journal of Science Fiction.
